@marypcbuk @feather Firefox Dev edition & Chrome Canary (all Windows 10) give the same result. FWIW, you *can* add pauses in speechSynthesis(). More here: smashingmagazine.com/2017/02/experimenting-with-speechsynthesis/Permalink On twitter.com
