    @thedezzie For hose reading along… to ally yourself to Dezzie (or anyone in this situation), you could say something like ”If I remember correctly, Dezzie said something along these lines previously. Dezzie, am I remembering that right?”

      @thedezzie This gives Dezzie agency to speak up and reclaim her idea while still giving her the power to decline to claim it (allow you to accept the blame for calling out a potential rehash of her idea, not her) or for her to decline to add anything to the situation.

        @thedezzie It does avoid confrontation, but that’s not a cop out. Assuming the person who rehashed her idea may not have done so intentionally, there’s no need to call them out. If the person is a repeat offender, however, a different approach is likely needed.
