@stubbornella It's an especially disingenuous question as we 1) are the top global producer of oil, 2) export a ton of that oil (8.51m barrels/day according to the EIC), and 3) have tens of millions of acres of land already leased for oil development that is currently unused.Permalink On twitter.com

@stubbornella To be clear, like you I'm 100% in favor of getting off of oil altogether. I bring those details up because I find a lot of the rhetoric from politicians and industry to be incredibly disingenuous.
