      1. @LaFinAbsolute @probert06 listening to your latest episode on intersectionality, I understand your arguments. At the same time, I think about things like evaluating how well a workplace is meeting the needs of it’s people.

      Intersectionality becomes a useful lens to uncover issues that affect people who live at these, well, intersections. For instance, seeing that 90% of employees feel valued & included tells me nothing.

    Seeing the percentage breakdown of the underserved 10% by certain shared characteristics and at the intersections of those characteristics can point to areas we need to improve on. It may turn out to be coincidental, but is still something worth investigating.

      So I guess I'm saying that while the intersectional lens isn’t everything, it can be useful. Like any tool. There are some scenarios where it is helpful and others where it isn’t.
