    @EmmaBostian Totally with you, it’s REALLY hard. We are still living that now at 6—and since they were 2.5 years old—but were in pretty much the same boat even when they were an infant and we lived closer (as in less than a mile) to family. Despite our hopes, proximity didn’t equal support.

      @EmmaBostian Like @burgessdryan said, finding parents in the same boat was helpful. We created community through our daycare and friends. We also set up babysitting exchanges where one family would watch their kid and another to give a break to the other family, then we’d switch back.
