    @piccalilli_ That's super disappointing to hear. I had a similar experience with Ajax World back in 2007 (?). It was like pulling teeth to get the to cover the measly train fare for me to get there and then the event itself was basically all sales pitches.

      @piccalilli_ Tickets were like $1200 and they even promoted the event as featuring talks from folks who I knew and who had not been contacted to speak (not were they attending). Sadly, lots of bad actors out there.
