Made the mistake of allowing OneDrive for Business to sync my Documents folder on my work laptop before considering the number of Node projects I had in there.

I managed to stop it from syncing the whole thing, but it did start building out the folders and OneDrive for Business doesn't let you recursively delete folders if there's a retention policy in place, you need to empty them first.

Declaring bankruptcy on that directory in the cloud and moved everything out of Documents locally, but damn, what a waste of resources. I just can't justify the time needed to manually delete everything via the web interface.
